The Valentijn riverboat is an exclusive Amsterdam sailing monument from 1913, beautifully restored to its former glory and retaining many of the original details. Tropical wood, bevelled glass windows and fine fabrics create an unforgettable atmosphere, combining. authentic charm with modern comfort. The Valentijn is specially designed for Amsterdam’s canals and can pass under all of Amsterdam’s bridges, even the smallest and sometimes most interesting canals can be reached.
The Soeverein is the most luxurious riverboat on the canals of Amsterdam. Specially designed to dine in style and comfort while sailing Amsterdam’s canals, the Soeverein offers the perfect ambience for lunch or dinner cruises. Unrivalled luxury awaits you as well as an impressive number of unique features.
Their love for the beauty of the city and their dream to offer an unrivalled experience on the Amsterdam canals was the reason for Boen and Arno to end their careers in advertising and management and founded Cruise with US. Their first purchase was the Valentijn in 2001. During its restoration, they discovered that this was a special vessel with a fascinating history. After peeling away the old layers of paint a ship number appeared, which indicated that the riverboat dated back to 1913 and was built at the Amstel Shipyard in Amsterdam. Upon this discovery, the City of Amsterdam decided to recognise the Valentijn as an official monument.
In 2003, Arno and Boen introduced r live cooking sessions aboard the Valentijn. In 2005 they started building the Soeverein, a larger sister vessel, which was launched in 2007. In 2012, Arno and Boen became the proud owners of the historical Prins van Oranje riverboat.
Today Rederij Cruise With Us has become a well-known culinary concept, renowned for its excellent Indonesian and international cuisine. Several Michelin-Starred chefs have cooked on board.
